Ukraine is the second-largest country in Europe, after Russia, and has an estimated population of 44 million. Tragically, this nation is under assault. The horrifying attacks in Ukraine have wrought tremendous devastation. Millions of Ukrainian citizens have fled to neighboring nations, including Latvia. BBI is in the unique position to meet specific needs of these refugees and provide assistance to churches, orphanages, and individuals across the border. Thank you for your generosity in supporting our Ukrainian brothers and sisters in Christ!
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

Project Linus National Headquarters is located in Belton, Missouri. National President Patty Gregory and Vice President Mary Balagna direct and orchestrate the activities of Project Linus chapters located across the United States. Patty has been involved with the organization in the Kansas City area since April 2000 and Mary in Central Illinois since late 1998, as chapter coordinators and now as directors and officers. Mary also maintains a very busy chapter, donating an average of 350 blankets every month to local children. With chapters in all 50 states, Project Linus continues to grow. Blankets are collected locally and distributed to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug.

This purpose manifests itself in preventative, rehabilitative, and specialized services to children, youth, adults and families. The aim of these programs is to enable this ministry, local churches, and the community to meet more effectively the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families. The Texas Baptist Home for Children provides these services as a benevolent, educational, and evangelistic outreach of the churches of the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas.
